General Job Requirements:
We are seeking banquet and event staff for the fall 2022 season! We are a private country club that hosts a number of events- weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, golf outings, etc. Weekends are a must since the majority of events are on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Monday availability is a plus as we hold outside golf outings from May - October.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Day shift Evening shift Holidays Weekend availability - mandatory
Duties include the following but not limited to:
- Attend pre meals meetings before events to learn function particulars including guest and client expectations
- Help set up the function i.e. table linen, glassware, flatware, etc.
- Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Promptly remove dishes as guest complete each course and/or meal at the end of meal or function
- Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guest overall satisfaction
- Once banquet is complete reset banquet room according to client specifications to ensure readiness of the room for the following function
- Must be reliable and responsible
