Line Cook Wakefield Matunuck Oyster Bar

General Job Requirements:

Matunuck Oyster Bar is hiring Line Cooks, with previous grill and sauté experience. Year-round, full and part time positions available.

Responsibilities include stocking and setting up kitchen station, cooking main dishes and appetizers. Ensuring accuracy and speed in executing high quality dishes. Have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation and an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. We are located at 629 Succotash Road, South Kingstown, RI, approximately 30-45 min south of Providence, RI. At Matunuck Oyster Bar, we are committed to providing the freshest food available, using locally sourced produce along with farm-raised and wild-caught seafood. Our signature raw bar is fully stocked with a variety of Rhode Island oysters, crisp cherrystones, littleneck clams, and jumbo shrimp. Our Matunuck Oysters are grown in Potter Pond, right off our waterfront patio. In addition, many of the herbs and vegetables found in our delectable meals are grown on our organic vegetable farm on the north end of Potter Pond.
