General Job Requirements:
Providence Bagel, Rhode Island's award winning Bagel shop is growing and looking for creative, fun, hardworking bakers! We have a small, tight knit team, and would love for you to join! Being a Providence bagel baker is so much more than just baking bagels. Our team tackles pastries like Toaster Tarts, cinnamelts, cookies, and muffins. Come join our bagel family, share your creative ideas, and grow with our team! Bakers start at $15 (more with experience!) and receive and extra $2.25 to $3.00 an hour with tips. *Prior baking & food service experience is required!* The shift begins at 2 PM and ends at 10 PM *Baker duties include, but aren't limited to:* Preparing and baking products while ensuring high food quality and safety standards Seeding and prepping large amounts of dough Recipe and specials development! You get to use your creativity and try new things often! Ensure cleanliness of building
Job Requirements:
- Previous baking experience required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must work well under minimal supervision
- Must have problem solving skills
- Must be able to multitask and switch tasks quickly
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift weight up to 50 pounds, tolerate heat blasts and tolerate cooler temperatures.
