General Job Requirements:
We are the team from Giusto Restaurant in Newport Rhode Island. We are a group of hospitality pros who value dedication, passion, and a commitment to genuine hospitality. We've opened a new restaurant, Mother Pizzeria, at Long Wharf Mall are looking for talented and unique general manager with strong leadership skills to lead our FOH team. YOU MUST HAVE:
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Experience as a restaurant manager, preferably with 5+ years
- Experience leading a team and business in a high-volume, fine-dining environment
- Experience coaching, teaching and training fellow staff members with a spirit of collaboration
- Experience working with operating budgets and 3+million dollar revenue management
- The ability to execute genuine, professional, and friendly hospitality
- The ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
IT WOULD BE COOL IF:
- You have experience with Italian wines and spirits
- You have experience Upserve or Lightspeed
- You have experience with Resy
- You have experience with high-volume takeout operations
- Take your previous experience and abilities to the next level with us
- You have some knowledge about Newport and the surrounding areas

Education Requirements:
5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably with some fine dining experience
