Essential Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook / Grill Cook to join our culinary team. An ideal candidate has passion for food service and a strong background in meal preparation. Experience a variety of work environments while having the ability to control your schedule and select the shifts that fit you best. Applicants must have the ability to reliably commute to a variety of kitchens within 25 miles of Providence, RI.
Grill Cook and Line Cook Duties: :
Demonstrate advanced food preparation skills, such as grill and sauté. Comfortable in fast paced environment, such as a breakfast grill. Prepare all menu items according to menu specifications and guest preferences. Use advanced kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers and knives. Maintain clean and organized workstation. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures provided in the training. Participate in other task assignments. Be able to lift, carry, push/pull 25+ lbs.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment. Flexibility to work various shifts.
