Seasonal Cook Block Island Yellow Kittens

  • Daily Prep Work: Portioning, maintaining par levels, quality control, knife work
  • Working line stations during service hours including Grill, Sauté, and Garde Manger
  • Executing the cooking and plating of dishes consistently and efficiently to our high standards
  • Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and proper storage standards
  • Keeping stations clean, stocked, and service-ready at all times
  • Communicating clearly with chefs and teammates during service
  • Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen culture

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Prior kitchen experience and/or culinary background preferred
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Benefits:
Seasonal Work: May 15 - October 15
This is a great opportunity to spend the season working in well-established, fast-paced restaurants while living on Block Island. Housing can be provided for the right candidate.
